Some 67 agencies have been selected for the UK government’s Crown Commercial Service (CCS) agency roster for digital and social media marketing.

From this roster, 69% are SMEs and 44% are "new to government business". Across four years, the combined value of the contracts is expected to equal £42m.

Munro & Forster Communications, Four Communications, Forster, Spring, Kindred, Weber Shandwick, Freud Communications, Portland, Engine Partners UK, Cohn & Wolfe and Nexus Communications are among the big winners across the 11 lots.

Ogilvy & Mather and M&C Saatchi also secured work across the board. Notably, in a European-wide competitive tender process, the only agency outside of London to win a place on the roster was Edinburgh's Story UK.

Charlie Cutler, Story UK’s digital director, said “We have had 8 years’ experience creating highly effective campaigns for the public sector framework in Scotland and are delighted to have secured a place on this roster."
